Pictures pretty much tell the story. Val was very sick with the flu and missed the entire celebration. Kayla was happy with her new sewing machine and made a cute skirt on Christmas day. Lydia got a new digital camera & Kate is thrilled with her MP3 player. I'm pretty excited about my new quilt for my bed and Val's not even sure what gifts he got.

Lydia's Christmas Dance
Lydia went to the Christmas dance Dec 16th with Curtis. Lydia tells us he is a very nice boy and they share a lot in common- both taking CNA classes, both in track and both have raised 4-H pigs. Unfortunately, the start of a cold hit her yesterday too. She still looked like a princess coming down the stairs last night and it made me laugh to hear Curtis exclaim when he saw her coming, "Holy Cow!"
